Hi! My name is Jim and I am a sinner saved by the grace of God.
I submitted to Christ as Lord after 30+ years of life, previously alternating between practical atheism, self-idol worship, and hypocritical Christianity.
I was un-churched until the age of 13. My organized religious experience from that time started with charismatic/ pentecostal/ Episcopalianism. This was on Sundays and during times of youth group meetings. Also, during the week (for a couple of my teenage years) I attended a Catholic military junior high school (to tame my wickedness), being subjected to that religion’s beliefs as well.
All through high school and college, I attended church to please my mother and keep up appearances. I also made friends in the church. However, my heart was far from God.
